We've had the good fortune to work on a wide variety of projects and one of the techniques I've developed is this collage style of illustration. I like to blend my own drawings & paintings with photos, found objects, textured backgrounds & specific lighting setups to create these images. All of my raw imagery is then composited in the Photoshop & Painter programs with the digital image as the final art. The layered compositions allow for easy & much quicker editing, creating variations of the imagery for other formats & pulling elements out to be used as spot illustrations. From high tech to historical images this style is wonderfully adaptable & expressive.
